If you have applied for the post of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) in C&AG then only you have to appear for Paper-4. The paper would comprise two parts: Finance & Accounts and Economics & Governance. Following are the topics that you have to study for this exam
Paper 4 is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
Assistant Audit Officer is the only Gazetted officer post in SSC CGL 2016. It is a Group-B Gazetted Officer Post.

AAO Job Profile:
The basic duty of an AAO is to audit the accounts of Central government, State Governments, Public Sector organisations and other Corporations. Audit means an official inspection of an organization’s accounts. An AAO needs to assist the audit officer and Senior Audit officer in conducting various departmental audits. The audit involves various financial and economic aspects and the performance and adherence of various organisations and departments.
It comprise of two parts:
